I have written about my grandmother, Dulcie Holland, a composer and music educator. I wrote about her role in composing music for documentaries promoting Australia’s post war immigration strategy for Australian Geographic. I also wrote Travels with my Grandmother for Limelight based on Dulcie Holland’s time in Europe in the late 1930’s. I also crafted  the foreword to the 40th Anniversary edition of Dulcie Holland’s Master Your Theory.

I love turning my hand to humour writing, anything from quirky observational humour to somewhat snarky satire. Over the years my comedy pieces have been published in the Heckler column in the Sydney Morning Herald and more recently Slackjaw and Greener Pastures in the USA.
